The parish council is not a planning authority and as such does not make final decisions on planning applications. However, the parish council is a 'statutory consultee' and as such receives all planning applications relating to the parish for comment.
The Council is also able to request and comment on any application made within the district, where our views are considered when the application is determined by Tandridge District Council.
Copies of applications within the Parish are received by the Clerk from the Tandridge DC Planning Office. The planning applications are then discussed at the next Council Planning meeting. The Clerk then passes on the Councils comments to the Planning Office.
